Today my focus changed a little bit, inspired by a visit to my lovely and pregnant friend Marines, I'd like to share with you the most beautiful experience that I had in life. Became a Mother was and still without doubt my best role. Every time that I see a pregnant woman came back to me the memories of my pregnancy. Sincerely speaking a magic time in my life! Besides feeling the most gorgeous woman in the world, regardless all hormonal changes, I was always careful about what to wear, how to wear the right accessories and how to feel good even if pregnant.
Forget the old times when the woman used to wear large, shapeless tunics or dungarees, with wide and ugly shoes. The market of pregnant fashion is growing considerately, many brands are making fantastic styles to the new curves of the mommies to be.
The experts always advice to pay attention in some details to buy the right products. First, they say your size is always your size, buying bigger clothes can make you bigger than what you really are, so finding your size in a pregnant range will for sure fit you better. Normally your color of choice should be the same, unless you crave for a specific one. Myself for example, loved all shades of blue. Since the beginning without knowing that a boy called Vinicius was on his way, blue caught my eyes and I simply loved it. However there's is also the advise to wear dark clothes to minimize the figure.
The first point to consider is the support and the comfort to adapt to your new curves. Another point to emphasize is better to buy a good quality basic stuff which will last for the whole pregnancy. A good pair of jeans, a nice black trousers , a smart jacket in case you need it for work or eventually for an occasion and a maxi dress which can be worn with flats during the day and with wedges or comfy nice heels for a night out. During Spring/Summer you have more options to make a nice pregnancy wardrobe, using plain colors could help to make a slimmer look, but prints are good too.
Bet in light fabrics to compose the looks and remember that Jersey is a very good friend, it's comfortable, make your look casual or smart and adapt very well to your new body shape.
